Zoho Desk - Email Failure Alerts
On occasion we have reports saying Zoho Desk shows the following error when sending an email:
Outlook Authentication - Mandated Password Change
This is often related to an issue with authentication within the Outlook / O365 servers (or other email environments), where a password change has been mandated on a periodic basis.
Zoho Desk - Check Error Messages
If you go to Zoho Desk and Notification area at the top right hand side, you may see an exclamation mark. Click this and check for Email Failure Alerts. The error message should look something like this:
Microsoft frequently requires password updates, so it is advisable to check your Office365 account by logging in directly with Microsoft to make sure that a password change is not currently mandated.
