Use correct module for email templates in Zoho CRM
When creating a new email template in Zoho CRM, ensure that you have selected the right module. This is the module from where you wish to send the email from. In most cases, it will be the Lead or Contact module. If you need to send the email from both modules, you will need to create two templates for each module for this to work.
