Parent and Member Accounts
a Look Up field called 'Parent Account' has been set up, allowing a hierarchical structure of businesses to be developed in a module
e.g. HQ -> Regional HQ -> Branch -> Sub-Office
In this example the Parent Account Look Up field has been added to the Accounts Module
In the Accounts module, go to the account you want to be a
member account:
Click into the ‘Parent Account’ field and select the company
you wish to be the parent (tip – start typing the account name)
Select the company and the green tick to save this.
Double check this is done by going to the parent account and
check its member accounts:
